How do I change my location?

The first time you log in to the app, you’re asked to enter your location to find items near you. 

Changing Your Profile Location 

If you've moved or your original location wasn't quite right, you can change it on our website.
  1. Visit your Settings page from a desktop or laptop by navigating to offerup.com/accounts/settings/
  2. Click on the Location box.
  3. Start typing the name of your city.
  4. Choose a location from the drop down menu.
    • Be sure to click on a choice from the drop down menu.
    • Just entering the name of a city without clicking an option will not update your location. 
  5. Click ‘Save Changes'.

Changing Your Search Location

iPhone/iPod/iPad

  1. On the home screen, tap  under the Search bar at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Set Search Location screen, pick the best option for you:
    • Tap Current Location to let your device find where you are when you use the app.
    • Type your zip code in the text box if you want to always use the same location.
  3. Tap Save.

Android

  1. On the home screen, tap Filter.
  2. On the Sort and Filter screen, tap the location shown.
  3. On the Set Your Location screen, pick the best option for you:
    • Tap Get My Location to let your device find where you are when you use the app.
    • Type your zip code in the text box if you want to always use the same location. 
  4. Tap Save.
