Cost of shipping for sellers

Sellers pay a service fee when shipped items sell. Buyers typically pay for shipping. In some cases, sellers can choose to pay for the shipping label in order to offer free shipping to the buyer.

Shipping labels

The cost of shipping is calculated when you list your item. It’s based on the item’s estimated weight. That cost will be shown on the item when you post it.

If the buyer pays, they’ll be charged for the label when their payment is collected. If you elect to pay, the cost will be deducted from the final sale amount before the money is deposited to your account.

We’ll send you the shipping label after you accept a buyer’s offer.

Service fee

Sellers pay a nationwide service fee for shipped items. The fee is a percentage of your item’s final price, not including shipping costs. You’ll see the rate when you’re listing your item. You’ll also see the exact amount when you accept an offer.

The fee is deducted from the final sale amount before the money is deposited to your account.
