Problems with notifications

OfferUp can send you notifications when you get new messages. If you’re not getting notifications as expected, there are a few device settings you can check that may help.

  • Make sure your OfferUp notifications are turned on. See Change notification preferences to learn how.
  • Some data-saving and power-saving measures for your device can affect delivery of notifications. Examples include:
    • Battery saving mode
    • Restricting background data in your program settings
    • Installing a third-party app to manage data usage
    Turn off any of these modes or apps that may be blocking your notifications.
