Problems paying with credit card

Here's what to do when you see one of these messages while using OfferUp's payment system.

There was a problem with the payment. If you've already seen this message, contact your card issuer.

There may be a problem with the info sent to the card verification process, or your card issuer may want to check the info.

The first time you see this message, try making the offer again.

 

If you see the message a second time for the same transaction, call the phone number on the back of your card.

There was a problem processing the payment info. Please try again.

There was a problem transmitting or processing the card info, so the payment needs to be tried again.

Try again to give the system another chance to process the card.

It looks like you bought this already! To buy again, try in a little while.

The purchase you’re trying to make looks exactly like a purchase that was made a few moments ago. To protect card holders from accidentally buying the same thing twice, the processing system may temporarily not permit the transaction.

Come back in a little while to try the purchase again. If that still doesn’t work, call the phone number on the back of your card.

Try entering the card's expiration date again.

The expiration date entered doesn't match the one on the card.

Enter the expiration date from the card. Then try saving the card again.
